Our DIY Self-Care Workshops are designed to help adults slow down, reconnect, experience childlike joy, and create something that nourishes the soul. Each workshop combines creativity, mindfulness, and meaningful conversation in a calm and welcoming space.

What to expect at a workshop

Each DIY Self-Care Workshop lasts about 75 to 90 minutes and includes both guided discussion and a creative hands-on activity. The experience is designed to help you step out of your daily routine and into a more mindful, present state.

When you arrive at Roots to Branches Soul Studio, you’ll be welcomed into a peaceful environment designed to help you slow down from the moment you walk through the door. Soft music, gentle lighting, and a calm atmosphere set the tone for the session.

Gentle conversation and reflection

Each workshop includes a lightly guided group discussion centered on the theme of self-care. Together, we explore topics like balance, boundaries, burnout, and what it means to feel truly nourished. These aren’t therapy sessions, but they are therapeutic by nature.

You’ll have space to share your experiences if you wish, or simply listen and reflect. There’s no pressure to open up—just an invitation to connect in whatever way feels right for you.

Creative DIY project

After reflection, we shift into hands-on creation. Every session features a unique project that you’ll make and take home. Past and upcoming examples include:

  • Loose-leaf herbal facial steamers

  • Essential oil rollers or diffuser blends

  • Custom room or body sprays

  • Pressed flower lanterns

  • Herbal bath salts or grounding sprays

  • Candle making with crystals & intention

Each activity ties back to the theme of the session and reinforces the idea of caring for yourself with intention. You’ll work with natural, calming materials—flowers, herbs, oils, and other simple ingredients that engage the senses.

As you create, conversation continues naturally. Laughter, stories, and quiet reflection all find their place here. By the end, you’ll leave with something beautiful that supports your self-care at home.
